Advertising & Sponsorship Policy
Commercial relationships must remain separate from editorial decisions.
No advertising at launch.
JMNS does not plan to display commercial advertising on the journal website at launch. If this changes, advertising will be clearly distinguishable from editorial and scholarly content.
Support does not purchase editorial influence.
Financial or in-kind support, if accepted in the future, will not give a sponsor authority over manuscript selection, peer review, editorial decisions, article conclusions or the presentation of the scholarly record.
Material sponsorship relationships relevant to the Journal will be disclosed transparently.
Editorial independence is non-negotiable.
Advertising, sponsorship, institutional collaboration and other financial relationships are managed separately from peer review and publication decisions. Editors must not be instructed to accept, reject, delay or promote a manuscript because of a commercial relationship.
Any new commercial model will be disclosed first.
If JMNS later introduces advertising or formal sponsorship programmes, this policy will be updated before implementation to describe the applicable eligibility, disclosure and separation rules.
